slowthai's sophomore album TYRON will land at the end of this week, and he's now shared a new video for the Skepta-assisted "CANCELLED" ahead of time.

Directed by THE REST, the clip opens with slowthai, Skepta and collaborators Kwes Darko, Krash and SAMO reenacting the "Whassup?" Budweiser commercials (notably spoofed in 2000's Scary Movie) with a hearty "WAGWAAAAAAN?"

From there, scenes from slasher flicks like American PsychoSilence of the LambsCandymanNightmare on Elm Street, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre get skewered by the UK upstart.

Speaking with Exclaim!, slowthai shared that TYRON's creation came from looking inward to create something that will help others.

"If I can do it, you can do it, too," he said. "That's why I get in my boxers on stage. If I don't feel insecure standing here, jumping around in my boxer shorts, why should you feel insecure? Why shouldn't you enjoy yourself and dance like no one's watching?"

slowthai's previous album, Nothing Great About Britain, was previously named one of Exclaim!'s 10 Best Hip-Hop Albums of 2019.
