Published Mar 03, 2020When he's not being robbed at knifepoint, Harry Styles loves to flirt with classic rock. Aside from the boomer signifiers on his recent album Fine Line, the beloved crooner has now taken some Peter Gabriel for a spin and covered his classic "Sledgehammer."
Appearing on Howard Stern's SiriusXM show, Styles side-stepped any sex talk in the most savvy way possible — by paying attention to classic rock.
Because of Styles's vocal range and the fact that he sounds to be using a very similar backing track (which is in fact a live band, however), the new version is almost impossible to distinguish from the original. Still, it's a fascinating choice.

As previously reported, Styles is taking Fine Line out on tour and will be playing multiple Canadian cities. You can see his schedule here.
