'Kim's Convenience' Is Coming to an End
Based on a wildly successful 2011 play, Kim's Convenience has been going strong as a CBC sitcom since 2016. Now, the show is officially coming to an end.

The producers of the show confirmed that Season 5 would be the final iteration of Kim's Convenience after the show's co-creators said they were moving on to other projects. Rather try to continue without them, they made the choice to call it a day.

"Kim's Convenience has built a powerful and inspiring connection with audiences in Canada and around the world," the CBC's Sally Catto said in a statement. "While we are sad to say goodbye to this beloved and groundbreaking show, we are incredibly proud to have been part of its journey and understand the producers' creative decision to wrap up the show at this time."

The series finale of Kim's Convenience will air on April 13.
