Published Feb 20, 2020Following the reveal of new album After Hours, the Weeknd has mapped out a huge tour in support of the upcoming record. And yes, there are plenty of Canadian dates.
Called "The After Hours Tour," the trek will kick off in Vancouver on June 11. From there, the Weeknd will play multiple Canadian stops, including dates in Edmonton, Winnipeg and Montreal, as well as not one but two concerts in Toronto.
UPDATE (3/3, 11:30 a.m. EST): The Weeknd has now added a second Vancouver date on June 12. You can see his updated schedule below.
Beyond Canada, the Weeknd has many more dates in the U.S., the U.K. and Europe over the coming months.
A press release promises, "'The After Hours Tour' will showcase state of the art production and one of the most innovative stage designs to date, containing the most LED lights and video for an arena show."
You can see the full schedule below. General tickets go on sale February 27.
After Hours arrives on March 20 via XO/Republic Records. So far we've heard the album tracks "Heartless," "Blinding Lights" and "After Hours."
After Hours marks the full-length follow-up to 2016's Starboy, though he also released an EP titled My Dear Melancholy, in 2018.
The Weeknd will appear as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live on March 7.
