Published Feb 18, 2020Harry Styles is the smooth-singing solo breakout star from One Direction, but his Valentine's Day was far from as romantic as his songs. In fact, it was rather terrifying — he was robbed at knifepoint.
The 26-year-old Fine Line singer was reportedly threatened by a man while he was out for the night in Hampstead, London.
According to British tabloid the Mirror, the singer was held at knifepoint as the robber demanded cash.
Styles reportedly handed over his cash, which sent the assailant off on his way.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed to the Mirror that they were investigating "reports of a knifepoint robbery in Hampstead" that took place at 11:50 p.m. on Friday night (February 14).
"It was reported that a man in his 20s was approached by another man and threatened him with a knife," the police statement continued. "The victim was not injured however, cash was taken from him. No arrests and inquiries are ongoing."
Despite the scary incident (and the tragic death of his ex, Caroline Flack), Styles is still slated to perform at the Brit Awards tonight.
