Published Sep 02, 2020We were promised that Season 2 of The Mandalorian would not be affected by coronavirus delays, and it looks like it was true. Baby Yoda and Boba Fett are now set to return for some more adventures, and the release date is pretty damn close.
According to an announcement from the official Star Wars Twitter, Jon Favreau's show will return to Disney+ on October 30.
The VFX team for the show had set up home offices to continue working while social distancing.
"We've been hunkered down in the post process," director Rick Famuyiwa told Variety. "It's been a challenging and great experience so far. But it's good to have that to take my mind away from the daily madness that we're living at the moment."
As previously reported, Robert Rodriguez joined Season 2 of the show as a director.
