For the podcast's latest episode, the two sat down to discuss politics and their country's "abusive relationship" with their leader.
De Niro predictably got a little heated when talking about his least favourite person, and went as far as to wish a poopy demise on the president, who he calls a "disgrace to the human race."
"I'd like to see a bag of shit right in his face — hit him right in the face like that and let the picture go all over the world," De Niro said in the episode. "And that would be the most humiliating thing because he needs to be humiliated. He needs to be confronted and humiliated by whoever his opponent is, his political opponent. They have to stand up to him. They don't have to do it in an obvious physical way, but they have to have the formidability to confront him and to put him in his place, because the people have to see that, to see him be humiliated."
Moore and De Niro spoke about a number of topics on the fourth episode of the new podcast, which "offers his subversive and humorous take on the issues of the day and talks to a wide range of people from comedians and politicians to the people who've tried to kill [Moore]. Plus various mischief with Mike's friends, family and the neighbors who don't work for the NSA."
Moore launched the podcast earlier this week on December 17.
De Niro has long been an outspoken critic of Trump. Last year De Niro delivered his "Fuck Trump" rant at the Tony Awards, and later on during a visit to Toronto, he apologized on behalf of the United States to all of Canada, including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, for the president's "idiotic" behaviour, calling him a "disgrace."
De Niro also guest starred as U.S. Special Counsel Robert Mueller in multiple episodes of Saturday Night Live in 2018.
