Kanye West's 40th Birthday Gift to Kim Kardashian Was a Hologram of Her Dead Dad
As if Kim Kardashian's 40th birthday party wasn't controversial enough, we now know what her husband Kanye West gave her as a bday gift — a 3-D hologram of her dead dad.

Yes, we really wish we were making this up, but it's very true. After all, Kardashian took to her Twitter to get all braggy about it and even share a video of the hologram, saying hubby Kanye got her "a special surprise from heaven." So yeah, that's the late Robert Kardashian Sr. in hologram form, and apparently, the gift was a surprise.

If you actually decide to watch the vid, you'll find the hologram say things like "I am a proud Armenian father" and that he's proud Kim decided to become a lawyer like him "and carry on my legacy."

Plus, the hologram really likes Kanye, saying he's the "most, most, most, most, most genius man in the whole world."

To put a cherry on top, the hologram then dances to Barry Mann's song "Who Put the Bomp." Apparently, the "holographic resurrection" of Robert Kardashian is thanks to a company named Kaleida, so we have them to blame.

Welcome to the year 2020, everybody!
